This Dia de los Muertos, we invite you to a special community gathering dedicated to honoring grief, celebrating life, and finding solace in shared experiences. More than just a celebration, this event offers a safe and supportive space to remember those we have lost and explore the healing power of this beautiful tradition.

Friday, November 1st 7 PM at the East Bend Library 62080 Dean Swift Rd, Bend, OR 97701

Experience an evening filled with:

  • Touching Stories: Listen to Lorenzo Perez and Elizabeth Johnson's moving story of love, loss, and remembrance centered around "The Red Bike."
  • Community Sharing: Find connection and solace through an open mic where you can share your own stories of grief or simply listen to others.
  • Expressive Art: Explore your emotions through Traditional Alter for healing spirit to provide healthy outlets for grief.
  • Nourishing Food: Savor the flavors of authentic Dia de los Muertos cuisine with delicious posole, tamales, and other refreshments.
